interested in movement and interactive relationship with the body, however in my thesis works, I also explore the simplicity of mechanical structure as a form despite its complex mechanical movements. Being constructed from simple linear elements, the structure not only mechanically functions, but also becomes the most enjoyable form to me because of the integration of the linear elements and the transformation in which lines interact with each other.

"Valwoo are dishes used in Buddhist temples; they are divided into dishes for rice, soup, water and side-dishes, and are made in different sizes so that they stack neatly inside each other. Each monk own set of Valwoo, and learn to take good care of it in the spirit of offering thanks to Buddha at every meal. We have a set of seven dishes in the traditional spirit of Valwoo, in two different designs."
