The title of this work is “Folding Chair”. Although folding chairs have received lower reputation or anticipation in general than normal chairs do, I regarded folding chairs as a worthwhile challenge as a diploma work for MA study requiring both aesthetic and functional aspects.
I aimed persuasive simplicity with an“A” shape folding chair, the most ordinary type of folding chair,with ash wood, respecting the material and focusing on achieving coherence and consistency on its design.
