Héctor Zamora proposes to materialize space intervention towards a transformed perception of our environment.

Created to be passed through, the objective of this work is to encourage a dialogue between the spectator, organic form and geometry. This experience, detached from the implications of structural formalism, detonates an individual dialogue with space and stimulates poetic perception.

Volatile Topography is the latest of Zamora’s approach to funicular geometry as a tool to redefine urban space—in this case over the Oncheoncheon River Canal. His intervention consists of mesh of intersecting ropes defying gravity and flowing in the air thanks to helium balloons attached to each node. Furthermore, the volatile space, slightly modified by the wind, will create nimble variations, pleats and deformations on the mesh.

Highly elaborate, precise and touching, this installation will result in a three-dimensional drawing transformed into passable landscape.

Priest was a manhwa (Korean comic) series created by Hyung Min-woo. It fuses the Western genre with supernatural horror and dark fantasy themes and is notable for its unusual, angular art style. An interview with Hyung in Priest: Volume 3 states that the comic was inspired by the computer game Blood, which featured a similar horror-Western aesthetic and undead protagonist.

Priest was published in English by Tokyopop. The manhwa was adapted into the 2011 American horror film of the same name.

Director: Scott Charles Stewart

Born in 1973, Hyung published his first manwha, Chronicle of a Hot-blooded Judo King, in 1994 and four years later the first volume of Priest caught the attention of readers around the world. Priest was made into a video game (not available in the US) and there's been rumors of a movie, but to date no official announcement has been made regarding the status of the project.

Young Kim is Senior User Experience Designer for the Microsoft hardware Group, and the man behind the Arc Touch Mouse.

Users can watch the video embedded at the bottom of this article, in order to hear Kim speak about his experience with building the new touch flavor of the Arc Mouse.

“Developing the new Arc Touch Mouse was the culmination of a lot of hard work from the multi-disciplinary team at the Hardware Group and I am excited to show you the role my team in Industrial Design had in creating the final product,” he stated.

“The focus of the mouse was to meet the needs of our customers’ mobile lifestyles; our user research showed that our customers wanted a mouse with a very small form factor so it was easy to take with them, but yet still large enough to be comfortable and help them get their work done.”

According to Kim, the process of developing the new peripheral involved more than 50 prototypes.
