Its dresser mirror design gives a PC user a completely new experience, a really out of box design concept. "I also was one of those who knew nothing about the computers. Thanks to this project I now know more about them. As we seen with the 'Going out' PC design, advent of smaller computers now, fashion goes alongside and will play an important role. The fashion is a way of life and PC will go hand to hand together"

Diarybook to adopt an LCD and a keyboard

'Digiplan’ won ‘Imagination’ prize at Korea Design PC Contest 2007, which adopted a slim LCD monitor and a keyboard in a diarybook instead of its existing content.
The other co-winner of the imagination award was 'Digiplan', an incorporation of PDA with PC, collaboration of slim LCD monitor and keyboard in place of typical bulky PDA layout. It has internal micro size battery and HDD.

"I borrowed an idea from analog planner where digital technology was used as if turning over a page of a traditional diary. If needed, its LCD and keyboard can be easily separated when upgrading" its product designer Jin-Ho Chang explained.

The cast is intened for emergency use. It comes flat packed. To used it is foldes up and the injured arms is slid in.
After locking the Velcro srrips around the arm, then air is pumped inside the inflatable lining to hold the arm in place securely till the user get hospital treatment.

Samsung Electronics announced its new 160GB hard drive using 2.5” disks, 'SpinPoint M5 series'. Capacity of the single-disk platform ranges between 60 and 160GB, while a dual-disk model is under development that will provide up to 250GB of storage space.

The SpinPoint M5 series utilizes perpendicular magnetic recording (PMR) technology, and the disk drive design has been optimized to allow ultra-precision adjustment of the head parking ramp position for high-density recording.The weight of the 160GB hard drive has also been reduced by approximately 4% from 98.66g to 94.83g, helping manufacturers to lighten their finished products.

The new SpinPoint M5 hard drives feature a 5,400rpm spin rate, 1.5Gbps SATA interface and 8MB cache memory. PATA models will be added to the lineup in May.Samsung has already shipped test samples of the SpinPoint M5 Series to OEM vendors and plans to begin mass production in mid-April.
