Actual memories are invisible but people are keeping the visible objects instead. Memories are always created with the passing of time. All of them are linked to each other; people choose some of to keep, and they transcribe these memories into objects.
Memories are stored and passed on within neurons in our brains, and are lost when this signal fades. Drawing inspiration from the scientific background behind human memories, the thesis explores the relationship between the mental landscape and physical objects.

There are two tables designed to describe how people remenber and lose their memories. These two designs are about the visible and invisible. The invisible hidden drawer represents keeping and preserving one's memories and the with visible projection shows the lost of memories.

Studio Gorm's ingenious remix of the tool shed as a mobile interior storage unit, the Shed/Shelf is exactly that...a house-shaped rolling shed that opens to reveal four compartments of assorted shelves, compartments, hooks and slots that looks straight out of a Jacques Tati film.

Design: John Arndt + Wonhee Jeong

Their "Shed/Shelf" hut house made of birch plywood and varnished sheets of MDF was born out of a lack of space in a one room apartment. The collapsible desk forms part of a range called Camp. John Arndt commented as follows: "I have moved around a lot in my life. Camping furniture has always fascinated me due to its practical construction, but what it didn’t provide was comfort. By using better quality materials, we have managed to overcome this failing." Studio Gorm’s "Post Laptop" is a pared down bag for transporting notebooks of all sizes. Their "Flying Light" bulb with a propeller takes its inspiration from a ventilator light fitting by Olafur Elliason. What is distinctive about the "Lighting Bug" is the way it projects magical shadows, enthuse both designers simultaneously, dreaming of the growing commercial success of their developments. Studio Gorm want to work more for big companies in future to creatively enhance the lives of the masses.
