Prosthetic legs today are designed to fulfill the basic mechanical needs of amputees and those born without legs. But what about aesthetics, users' life style, satisfaction, and social acceptance? Understanding the body anatomy is crucial, but more importantly
'Uncanny Valley' should be avoided. This project involved considerations in fashion, human physiology, materials, co-branding, biomedical engineering, target user and technology to suggest a visually pleasing product that can be a tunring point to re-consider the utilitarian look.
