Sunkoo Yuh is an artistically ambitious ceramic sculptor. He has exhibited his creative sculptures extensively, in Korea and across the United States and they are part of many public museum collections including the Renwick Gallery of the National Museum of American Art, Smithsonian Institution, Washington D.C., and the Ichon World Ceramic Center, Ichon, Korea.

He holds an M.F.A. from New York State College of Ceramics, Alfred; and a B.F.A. from Hong Ik University in Seoul. Traversing the United States, Sunkoo Yuh has been an artist-in-residence and led workshops at various colleges and universities, including California State University, Long Beach, and New York State College of Ceramics, Alfred. Currently he is an associate professor at Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL.
